Essence of Jatav
People of our community are also called Jatavs/Bhattu Murthis. In some places we also hold last names like Raju. Our last names and Gothras often are similar to those of Brahmins. Our community has placed a lot of focus on literacy and education. We have been successful in teaching, banking, medicine and engineering.
